Meet Kara Lushear

I’ve been in the real estate and home building industry for over 20 years, and I truly love what I do. Helping people buy, sell, and invest in homes across Central Florida is more than just a job—it’s my passion!

I’m a proud UCF Knight and I’ve lived in both Seminole and Orange Counties since 1998, so I know the area inside and out. Whether you're a first-time home buyer, an empty nester looking to downsize, a seasoned investor, or somewhere in between, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

In addition to helping clients reach their new home dreams, I’m also a real estate investor with personal experience in both long-term and short-term rentals, as well as 1031 exchanges. I love sharing what I’ve learned to help others build wealth through real estate.

One of my favorite parts of the job is helping sellers get their homes market-ready. I enjoy working on home projects and can help you figure out which updates will make the biggest impact before you list. And don't be surprised if you see me pick up a paint brush or screw driver to lend an extra helping hand.

Outside of real estate, I’m all about family. I’ve been married to my husband, Brian, for 20 years. We have two amazing teenage boys who both attend Winter Springs High School.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me spending time with my family and friends, listening to an audio book, enjoying live music, or watching a Broadway performance at the Dr. Phillips Center in Downtown Orlando. I’m also a bit of a DIY enthusiast and always have a home project (or two) in the works.
